The best party I've ever had

I think one of the best parties I’ve ever had was three years ago, when I was in school, it was my graduation party.
We arrived to the party and the first thing we did was eat. Then, the music began. I remember we all were a little drunk after a while, but we danced all night long. I could wear my shoes only twenty minutes because my feet hurt so much!
I remember this party with love, because I spent nice time with people I met for years, and the idea of not talking with them after school was sad. I think we all knew that, so we forgot our troubles and we laughed and just had fun!
But also I need to talk about another very very good party. It was when I was in school too, I was 17 years old I think. With my class traveled to Bariloche, Argentina. We went to a disco there, and we were very excited because we were alone, and we wanted to meet new people.
We arrived to the place, and we were disappointed because everything was really boring. But after a while, we started to dance and everything was amazing! Plus, argentinians are not shy at all.
After that we went to the hotel, and the party continued there until the morning, and it was awful, because in the afternoon we had to come back to Chile!

What does it mean for me to learn English?

I remember when I was child I didn’t like so much English, because I didn’t understand it. I mean, I knew the colors, the numbers and some vocabulary but I wasn’t interested in learning the language. In my first school I didn’t listen to my teachers, and they were not much worried about that.

But then I went to another school, and the English was more difficult and if I didn´t understand my marks were going to go really bad. So my mom noticed this, and asked my aunt to teach me classes and in this way, getting good marks. She forced me to learn a lot of verbs and its conjugations, so I started to understand.

At the same time, I listened to music in English, so I searched the meaning of the lyric in Spanish and I could learn more vocabulary. When I was in high school I didn´t need my aunt’s help anymore because I could handle the language and it was easy for me and most importantly, I really liked it.

In the last time, I’ve watched many series and I learnt expressions and vocabulary that don’t teach you in the school, I can watch a movie in English without the subtitles and it’s amazing for me, because I realized that  everything that I learnt in the past it was worth it.

I like to learning different languages –now I’m in French classes- I think it’s important not only because “English is the global language”, but because at the end, you can be more, not only get settle for one language. If you have the chance, I think you have to take it.

My best holidays

It’s hard for me to choose between the best holidays or the best concert, because I have had amazing experiences on both cases. But this time I’m going to talk about my best holidays, which were the last year on February. 

I have an uncle who live in Cuba, and he was going to get marry, so he invited me with my aunt and my cousin (they already knew the island), who has the same age as me. So we arrived to his house in La Habana and we were to wedding, of course.

The next days they took me to knew La Habana Vieja, which is a beautiful place! It’s like cuban people live in other time because the buildings and the cars are old, like we were on 1950. Three days later we were to Varadero, where I could see the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen, and I could swam with dolphins!

I felt in love with Cuba, the culture and the people who live there are amazing, I’m sad because I couldn’t know every place, so I think I will have to go again!

somewhere i'd like to go

I remember when I was younger I was watching something on internet, and suddenly I saw a beautiful picture of a sky full of stars. I was like in love and I said to myself “I need to know this place!”. I knew after, that the picture was taken in Iceland.

Iceland is a Nordic island located in the north west of Europe. I really want to visit this place because the natural landscapes are amazing.  In the nights you can see all the stars, and the most incredible thing, the northern lights.

I would like to go alone, or maybe with some friend in a few years more. I don’t care if I go by myself, the country is not dangerous and the people who lived there is very kind (that’s what I’ve read at least).

When I visit Iceland (because I will), of course i’ll have a clear idea of how is the country, and why not? Perhaps I stay there!
